Mumbles Rangers under 8’s v Dunvant under 8’s
 Friendly match @ Dunvant Park Sunday 26^th August ‘07

Game 1

Team:  Lucas Williams, Bradley Denty, Callum Elwin, Lewis Humble, Lloyd Evans, Joshua Wallis, Finley Capel. 

First match of the season kicked off with a friendly against Dunvant, which saw a Mumbles team put in a very strong performance. An excellent opening goal from Joshua Wallis which showed him beating 2 players and finishing superbly to put Mumbles 1-0 up was then followed by excellent individual play from Callum Elwin in midfield in the build up to the second goal which saw Bradley Denty finish off from a deflection to make the final score Mumbles 2 - Dunvant 0

Game 2

Team: Lucas Williams/ Callum Elwin, Shane Harris, Michael Thompson, Zac Williams, Rhys Thomas, Thomas Andrew. 

Another fantastic team performance once again with some excellent early save from Lucas in goals and a few commanding runs from Michael on the left wing, was followed by a goal from Thomas on the right wing after a fine solo effort. This was followed by Zac with a firm shot to make it 2-0. Late on Shane put in a powerful shot that took a deflection to make it Mumbles 3 - Dunvant 0.

Game 3

Team: (staring line up) Thomas Andrew, Bradley Denty, Lloyd Evans, Joshua Wallis, Shane Harris, Zac Williams, Rhys Thomas. All players used through substitutions. 

In the final game Mumbles fell behind twice from a strong opening Dunvant display, but soon drew level with goals from Shane and Thomas. Then in the final moments Rhys Thomas capped a fine performance with a left foot strike in front of goal to make it Mumbles 3 - Dunvant 2
